About
You are loved.
That’s the first thing we say about ourselves, and it comes from the verse we took our name from.
The name
Beulah is a word from Isaiah 62:4.
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Isaiah 62:4, King James Version · Emphasis added
Nearly every modern translation turns that word into English and prints “Married.” The King James leaves the Hebrew where it stands. That’s why we’re called Beulah and not something else.
The verse is about a change of name. Two names are taken away, Forsaken and Desolate, and two are given back.
We embrace the promise of being a delight and providing a peaceful beauty environment. Here, we celebrate your beauty, making you feel cherished and radiant.
What it means here
We create beauty and relationships with clients.
A verse about being delighted in is a strange thing to put on a price list, so it shows up in duller ways instead. Every price is published before you walk in. Every chemical service says plainly who it’s wrong for, including when the honest answer costs us the booking.
Nobody should have to guess what a service costs, or find out halfway through that their hair couldn’t take it.
Be Beulahful.
Your beauty, our passion.
How we work
Korean technique, blended with modern trends.
We bring the essence of Korean beauty culture here, with skilled professionals, personalized services and high-quality products.
What that means in practice is a full set of Korean services that almost nobody else in Indianapolis publishes: digital perm, magic straightening, multi perm, keratin, and the men’s iron perm. Each one is written up with its own timing, its own aftercare, and a plain list of who should not book it.
The space
A peaceful beauty environment.
One suite in Castleton, off Allisonville Road. Small enough that you book with a person rather than with a salon.

How it started
[Placeholder]
[Needs the salon’s own account.] Who opened Beulah, what year, and what they were doing before. If the name was chosen before the verse or the verse before the name, that is worth a sentence too, because it is the question a visitor will have after reading this page.
Nothing has been written here on the salon’s behalf. The current About page carries no founding story, so there was nothing to work from and inventing one is not an option.
